Lyons & Volpi Leather Co. was formed in 1994 as a partnership between Joseph Lyons, former VP of Howes Leather Co. (a U.S. tannery), and Volpi Concerie, one of Italy’s premier sole leather tanneries.

Lyons & Volpi sells four brands of sole leather in bends and cuts soles for shoe manufacturing and shoe repair: • Volpi and Cortina Leather from Italy • Rocca Leather from Italy • Super Quality Leather from South America
Rubber Products
Lyons & Volpi Leather Co. is the sole distributor of SVIG rubber products. We stock the following products: • Rodi & Roma toplift heels • Protective half soles & sheets • Toplift sheets • Lug heels & half soles • Rubber welting • Sheets in trekking compound
Crepe Rubber
Zephir crepe rubber is the standard for crepe rubber. It is extremely resistant to wear and very dense to hold weight. It also trims and bonds perfectly.
Only leather and rubber that says "Made in Italy" is 100% Italian. Don't be fooled by misleading labels like "Vero Cuoio" or Italian sounding city names. If it doesn't say "Made in Italy" it is not true Italian.
